What products do you use in the engine bay?

I use Meguiar's APC, it's a great all around product. And like many other APC's. . . it can be diluted to the desired strength. Whenever you are working with APC's, degreasers, and acids never apply the product to a dry or hot surface. Warm rather. Once I have completed the cleaning, Meguiar's Hyper Dressing is used for all the rubber/vinyl/plastic parts. Brushes are also very handy, but now we are talking tools. :ha: Hope that helps.

I ended up spending the day with this M5! :drama: I ate my lunch once I completed the interior and then spent 3 hrs on the exterior! Wheels were a nightmare and the interior pics do no justice. Time was well spent and the owner was more than happy =)

At my wife's building, they had a guy who would do a bunch of cars for a number of years. It wasn't until he retired and Chris took over that people realized that they had been paying a lot for mediocre work. I'm not sure how many accounts (or regulars) Chris has over there, but the difference between his work and the last guy's work is HUGE. Chris gives you a hell of a lot more for the money and when he details, he DETAILS.

If I recall correctly, there was a dead bee in one of the wheels along with lots of race rubber. Thanks for getting all the dust and dirt out of the car, and the dead bugs off the car!

Although, I do kinda like the matte, gunmetal fade that the brake dust adds.
