Them fools gave me crap for my trade in 00 GLX, then tried to add another $89.00 a month to my already signed contract on a 06 2.5 Jetta.
I asked for my trade in back, dropped off the Jetta after putting 400 miles, picked up my 00 GLX, drove it to Drew VW in El Cajon that afternoon, traded it in for a 06 Jetta GLI with cheaper monthly payment then I got for the POS 2.5 Jetta.
I then drove it back to Murrieta VW to ask for my Ice Cube CD I left in the CD player.....and I got to show off my GLI to all of them who said they couldn't get me into one....phuktards

Their parts guys were surprisingly nice to me. I don't even regularly buy from them. They let me out into the back, as I was looking for some nuts/bolts, or ones that were "close enough". So we just took the bolts I had to the back, and they spent a good 20 minutes just looking around from the parts that would work. They honestly had no idea who I was, just wanted a happy customer.

Their service department was totally unwilling to help me when I had a coilpack go bad even though I told them I lived in San Diego. I wound up buying the part and fixing it in less than 5 minutes the alley behind Pure Motorsport after Mike let me borrow a pick tool to pop out the old pack.
The parts guy at Murrieta was super helpful and also seemed surprised the service people weren't going to help me out. They need more people like him.
I wound up filing a complaint with VW of America because these guys would rather have me limp home 60 miles, kill my catalytic converter, and possibly damage engine internals rather than spend the couple minutes it would have taken to verify my diagnosis that it was a coilpack with their VAG scanner. I realize they thought the problem might be bigger than a coilpack. They supposedly didn't want to leave me without a vehicle but, if it was a bigger problem than a coilpack, I would have liked to know anyway because it wouldn't have been safe to drive back to San Diego anyway.

Rob and I went there Saturday to check out their GTI inventory. OBVIOUSLY the salesman and fleet manager were cool trying to make the sale. But I did like how they weren't pushy and didn't think twice about getting me a brochure (suprisingly other manufactures don't give out brochures to easily).
