I was pleased with the experience I had purchasing my 08 GTI but I have not experienced any other service there.

Was satisfied with the purchase of my R32 there, but dissatisfied with:

1) alignment was bad on delivery, owner's manual specifically states VW will do one alignment under warranty in the first 12,000 miles, but they refused to honor the warranty and would not perform the alignment under warranty.

2) made an appointment to have the Haldex fluid changed at 25k miles, and when I showed up they not only didn't have the Haldex fluid, they didn't have the Haldex wrench. They didn't tell me this until the R32 had been there for six hours, me stranded at home. Had to come pick it up and take it to Miramar VW for service.

3) I paid for an alignment, they put 25 miles on my R32, and DID NOT PERFORM THE ALIGNMENT!! Wheel was even more crooked than before i dropped it off! I didn't even leave the driveway, noticed it was so bad. Went back and asked what happened, then the tech told the service writer that the alignment was fine and he didn't need to perform the alignment. Drew VW was going to keep my $89.95 for the alignment they didn't actually perform. Then I asked why there were 25 miles on my car, and why the steering wheel was more crooked than when I left it. He swore up and down that he didn't touch the alignment, so I made them put it up on the rack to inspect it for damage. None visible, but alignment definitely screwed. I got credited back that money and took it to Miramar VW for the alignment, but not before Drew VW failed to latch my hood closed and it popped open on me as I was getting on the 8 freeway. That was the final straw, will never take it there again.

I had a engine mount replaced by them once. Turned in keys on a Saturday morning walked to work. Picked it up at lunch time.

Fairly priced, for a dealership, and they threw in a free wash and wax. BTW they replaced my coil packs because of the recall a couple years back.
