just got this from UPS. the website is cute & interactive -- freaking cool make sure you click on all the objects on the desk:

for the most part, my dailiy shipping activity is incredibly boring/repetitous but this was kinda cute

That's actually a neat idea. I personally hate those little desktop things but I know a bunch of people love them. People might actually use UPS over another company just because they like their little desktop guy.

I don't care either way. I use whichever is cheaper.

The FedEx man just fooled me though. I heard a knock on the door and thought it was UPS with my awesome package but it turned out to be FedEx with 2 lame packages.

hah!!!!

I just love how DHL is GHEEEEEEEETTTTTOOOOOO!!!! Can't tell you how many times I've seen a DHL truck roll up, ex-gang member pops out with pants around his knees.......and the truck is just sitting there blasting hip hop or rap music.........

I wonder why they are typically cheaper?!?!?!? hmmm

well, FedEx is better about paying claims for damages, refunding express freight when packages are late, and is easiest to negotiate rates.. plus my rep is awesome

UPS ignores claims, is late to pay claims, refuses to refund express freight when packages are late and won't discount rates based on volume. plus my rep -- i haven't seen in a year

my 2 cents, it's worth the extra couple of bux to pay for their 'service'

I always considered DHL the more expensive one. I've only used them for same day service though. You can have them bring papers to someone and wait for a signature and bring them back.

That's actually a cool little widget, hopefully it isn't made by the same company of that purple monkey that's just just nothing but TONS of adware and viruses...

Might get this once I start ordering stuff like crazy... Now Fedex has to make one too.

Off-topic: I agree DHL is ghetto lol...

Off-topic again: I wish that both UPS and Fedex would take care int heir deliveries though... Ordered tires from them and when they came i raced downstairs to get them out of his truck. As I opend the door, saw them fly 5-6 feet over the fence, land on the sidewalk... scuffed em... :soapbox:
