Noon, Dec. 5, 2007: The campus emergency status has been set to Yellow (Caution) because there has been a precautionary evacuation of the School of Medicine based on a bomb threat. Please avoid the area. Continue to check this page for updates.

there was one last month at ClaremontMcKenna College [where my moms works] it's usually no biggie.. but the administrations HAVE to treat it seriously... they don't want to be the next Columbine...

friend of mine works in a medical tech research building on the campus of UC Santa Cruz, I went to pick her up this weekend and the building was on lockdown for the 10th time that day because some idiot protesters kept coming in to use the bathroom and kept pulling the fire alarm to disrupt operations.

costs $1000 every time they lock it down and security comes out to clear.
