Bring it in to the Apple store. They will reset it for you and it should work fine. That is what I did when mine kept freezing. You will have to put all your music back on again though. Also, just get an Iphone instead of a sidekick. :tup:

I assume that it is still playable? Do you get any icons on the iPod (e.g. sad face or exclamation point)?

You can Restore it yourself (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983) - factory settings

or

you can just Reset it (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705) and this may fix your problems
