Hmm... A day to remember indeed.
7 Dec 1941 - The last time a COUNTRY had the balls to provoke the United States of America and was the first to set the example as to why nobody should ever again. The last time the People of America were behind their country enough to celebrate the lives saved and vicotry; NOT to condemn the nation for the lives lost. American citiznes understood the destruction of the atomic bombs used, was LESS than the destruction would have been to both the US AND Japan if the planned full scale invasion had taken place.
11 Sept 2001 - A cowardly attack at the hands of an UNIDENTIFIED enemy... amidst all the efforts of American Government and intellegence agencies to identifiy suspects and rid our country of the fear of such attacks happening again, a rise of the most ungrateful Americans in history showed it's face. Yet do they understand, it is the very structure, government, and sacrificing Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines that they condemn and protest, that GIVE THEM THE VERY RIGHT TO DO SO! I'd like to see some of the extreme protest organizers, (whose followers rarely know what purpose they are surving) to try and practice the same freedoms in some of the countries they are arguing for.
My respects to all those that have served and to all those who will or continue to serve our nation!
Semper Fi - United States Marines, Protecting your right to protest, since 1775!
Sorry, to seem rantish, but have had a few things go through my mind.
And for the record, I can agree to disagree and don't usually think somebody is wrong just because they don't think the same as I do.
