Still looking for a MKII shell

Yes, I am again/still looking for a MKII (golf) shell. I need the body with a windshield in it. Gas tank would be nice but is not a must. If its on wheels...even better. I don't expect much since I am looking to spend about $400. Please let me know if you have something like that or if you know someone who does.

I don't know if this would work for you, but I just happened to see a MKII on my way home from Mammoth today. It was sitting in a junk yard with a grip of other rundown cars. It's most likely rusting over and will need a lot of work but you could probably pick it up for very cheap or free. It was on the west side of the 395 just after the town of Big Pine. I don't know if this helps you. Either way good luck with your search.

Appreciate your help but I wouldn't even know where to find that place. Also, many junk yards don't give out the cars after the title has been shradded. But basically that is teh kind of car I am looking for.
