mg and rover are like vw and audi..rover is more luxury..both are pretty slow..and very very cheap interior....ford used to import those cars like a year ago.

I thought BMW owned Rover though? Maybe they just bought Range Rover and someone else bought Rover?

BMW sold the Rover Group in March 2000 to Phoenix Venture Holdings Ltd., initiating a chain of events that ultimately resulted in the company being split apart and Ford Motor Company acquiring the Land Rover business.

As the new company was formed in September 2000, their name was changed from Rover Group to MG Rover Group Ltd.
