Pep Boys is clearing out their EBC brakes. They are pricing them from 2.99-4.99 for most part #'s. I think they mainly carry the Green-Line EBC's but they might have others. I just purchased part#DP21329 for the front of my 2004 Golf for $4.30. They didn't have any more of the back brakes available for my vehicle. This not a wild-goose chase I really did buy them at that price. Hurry up before they run out of your part #. Good Luck:tup:

Did any one else pick any up? Does anyone know if these pads are going to be ok with my stock rotors? If they won't be ok, can anyone recommend a good rotor that won't break the bank? I'm trying to minimize my brake job expense to focus on some other mods.

I stopped by Pep Boys on my way home for work and checked on these two numbers: DP21330 and DP2680, neither were marked down. We even carried the DP21330 to the front register to double check. When the lady helping me told the lady at the register the rumored price she said, no I haven't heard anything about it.
Oddly enough they did have a sale on wild geese.
Negative reps to you sir, negative reps to you.
Good looking out though, would have been a hell of a deal. Might have just been my store. At that price it's definitely worth stopping by or making a call to see.
And of course I was kidding about the neg reps.

I bought 4 more sets today...what the heck- $17.20 is stiil cheaper than I could find for even a basic Autozone/Kragen cheapy set. My friend bought 5 sets for his 2003 Mustang GT, they were only$3.80 a set for him. I hope everyone is trying, I know when I called the first time I got one of the managers on the phone, and he was like"No I can't get them" But when I went in it was no problem. I think he was being over-protective or thought it was a mistake. Good luck everyone, don't take too long though, this is starting to make its way onto those coupon/hot deal websites like Fatwallet.com. :german:
