Check it out! Jen took me Christmas shopping tonight. I got one of the 2 things on my list.
It's a regular P229, with stainless (is it stainless?) DC lever, slide release, mag release and grip screws. It's a factory refurb, and it looks pretty nice.

I could wait for a "What did you get for Christmas" thread, but I won't. Here it is. I forgot that it also has a stainless hammer, trigger and disassembly lock. I shot it tonight, and it's NICE. Maybe a little sticky in the trigger, but I think I am just used to well-worn Navy guns.

On a side note, I also shot skeet for the first time on Saturday. I can see where that could get addictive. Damn, that was fun! I missed the desert plinking fun with my own gun by one day. (It was day 9 of my 10 day wait)

So now I have my pretty new (used) gun and my anti meth-head rounds.
