So my friend Beam from Japan is apprenticing to tattoo under my buddy Sid. He drew me a lil something. I can't wait until he starts because he will be amazing.

Haha that would kill! I wouldn't mind getting it somewhere else though. I will wait for him to tattoo me about a year from now.

Well you should just make an appointment with my buddy Sid. He is world famous and you will never be disappointed with what he does. His schedule may be full for a while, but call and find out.

Ask your friend how much he would charge to draw up an idea similar to what you have there. I'm looking at starting into my sleeve and have a few ideas, but nobody to draw.

Basically I want the traditional anchor with a tattered ribbon/banner wrapped around either one anchor or two crossed anchors that read "Seven Steps to Hell." Maybe a sparrow or two...
If he wants to throw in any sailor girls or anything it's up to him. Let him know that it's going to be a forearm tattoo about 4-5" in length and 3-4" in width.
It's a forearm tattoo in memorial of my grandpa's naval tattoos. He had two anchors between the index and thumbs, a banner on his shoulder that said "Seven Steps to Hell" and sparrows on his shoulder.

It's in the Sailor Jerry style.

Some people often refer to it as "traditional" also.

Oh nice! I want an anchor for my gramps too! He has some anchor from WWII on his forearm. I will let him know!
Traditional is correct. Sid is the king of traditional.

Well Sid works fast believe it or not, so it's pretty much up to the person. A few sittings I am sure.
