sun roof problems on my MKIII GTI

well i need to get my slider assembly replaced...dam thing broke the other night thankfully i got my sunroof closed ....any else ever have problems with theirs?

late post but I hope I never have that problem, funny thing if I really think about it. When I got my car at the dealership, he told me to mod the hell out of the car "just don't mess with the electrical". I was curious to see if anybody else has ever had electrical problems with their Vw's?

My 95 had hella problems, I had the dealership replace it, and worked fine for like 2 months. I went to open it and heard crunching sounds and a bunch of hard black shit came down (like glass but wasn't). I had them replace it again and afterwards I just kept it closed and traded her in ;) I think once they start to malfuntion, your gonna have problems. Sorry if this ain't no help.........good luck

i had the same problem a couple of months ago and the dealer fixed it good old warranty, they said it fell of the tracks, i got it to close manually, but i had to keep the tilt open
