Hello from a new member (Canadian eh)

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd take a couple of mins to introduce myself:

I just moved to California (Rancho Cucamonga) from Toronto, Canada about 4mths ago...loving it so far.

I've been a VW enthusiast forever, all I've ever owned in fact. And I've also been a member on VwVortex for 6 yrs.

I sold my last car (MKIV Jetta) before I moved down here and just purchased a MKV GTI that I'll be acquiring in the first week of January.

Look forward to meeting some new dubs and faces at upcoming GTGs.

What's up with the US plates? Did you buy your dubs over here? I know some of the Audi TT guys did so they wouldn't get the extra bumper things on the front of their cars.

What do you mean? The Jetta has Canadian plates (Ontario) and the MKV has plates from Texas because thats where I bought it from, gotta get it switched to Cali.

I always get the "about" thing....its either A BOOT or A BOAT lol.

I'd love to hit up the leafs vs. Kings or Ducks games, but its during those nights that I;ll be in Texas pickin up the GTI :p
