Yes pics always help. Plus, I am thinking a 92 GTi all stock with 186k probably means it is in good shape. We'd like to see, and it would probably help justify the price :)

General word of caution though...

Post count of "2" + attitude vs. justification when price is questioned = not good first impression on a new group of people.

2000 posts + people know you and the car = understandable response.

ya man im just saying...good luck with you...but ultimately if you dont like what someone posts...then you dont have to respond...many people just ignore...anywayz...youll learn that here..

not on this planet

maybe he was talking about just the motor? low mileage 16v lump would fetch about that, right?

on the tex there was a guy i was gonna buy a MKII 16v with 163xxx miles all worked clean interior for 1000 even...only thing was no roof liner and one scratch on the bottom of left door...so yes it is possible

any straight and good condition MkII will fetch at the least 2500...it also boils down to the area the car is being sold, when i was still in cali you couldnt even find a decent MkII for less than 3,000 without a buddy discount

quality MK2's are expensive

you can find others for cheaper, but the condition of a MK2 varies a lot

after all the car is 15+ years old

post up some quality pics so people can see

i think $2400 is a fair starting price, i dont think you'll get close to it, but i think its fair to ask it

That is what I thought. Just below $ 2000. Looks like the car is in excellent condition. If that was an 16V it would go for MUCH more.

If you want more for that car you will have to wait another 2-3 years;)
