Earlier this week Mike gave me a big hand and we pulled the front koni's out and dialed up the rebound dampening 10% from 70-80. The front end of the car settles much quicker than before when the weight is imbalanced from a bump. Today we went ahead and installed a set of H-Sport sway bars replacing the old stock/neuspeed setup I had.

remaining to do items:
Finish brake ducting
Awaiting Carbotech pads
Finish Oil cooler
Potentially a new turbo kit... :) we'll see.

In anycase here are some blinging H-sport pics for you guys to drool on :P BTW the h-sport front bar was 4lbs lighter than the stock sport front bar, and the rear was ~.4-.5lbs lighter than the neuspeed bar.

Much thanks to Mike and Helen @ purems again for their time and assistance!

Way to go Paul, that front H-sport sway looks huge! I thought the Koni's were externally adjustable on the front for the A4s?

afraid not, koni sports require them to be removed (fronts)... rears if you notch the perch housing you can adjust without.

if you guys know FOR SURE that you'll be in the event, you should start hitting up some of the sponsors. Most of them are gonna be willing to give you JUST ABOUT ANYTHING for free just to have their name mentioned in the editorial coverage of the event.

Well not for free exactly. But they are willing to cut deals. Now only if I had any money left to buy stuff that I still need. Well the last thing for my car is brakes and maybe a rear sway bar.

in many cases free, if you know how to market it to them and have a nice proposal ;)

I have and all of them are just giving discounts. That and time is running out anyway and it would be very tuff to get something in time for the event. Right now I just need a rear sway bar, even if someone has a "sport" sway bar that they would let me use. I had a few offers for brake kits but since I dont have the cash they want for the deal I will just pass on it for now. Just spent too much last week and even more last month to get this car ready for this event.
