Hi everyone,

I know this is my very first post and people don't like to see For Sale ads as a first post, but I was just sent here by a fellow member on mnaudi.com, I am a member there. I will post pics soon. BTW the car is in NorCal/Bay Area. I have copy pasted my exact ad from MNAUDI.COM

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately its time to sell my A4 as I just bought a new (used) car and i doesn't make sense for me to have two cars. I absolutely love my A4 and would keep it if I had the space and could afford to keep it. I have all maintenance records available since I have owned the car (April 2005, 91k miles)

Here are some specs:

2000 Audi 1.8T Quattro, Manual transmission, Silver on black
Miles: 123,xxx (I think its pretty close to 124,000)

Power windows, side mirrors, door locks, steering.. blah blah
MANUAL SEATS
Ski bag
Audi Symphony II with 6 CD changer
Heated seats

The good:

- Engine runs great and pulls really hard. I have had no mechanical issues with this car ever.
- Turbo is pretty solid as well.
- Clutch is strong too, it has no signs of slippage.
- Timing Belt and Water pump has been changed twice!!! Second time was due to some oil leak, new gasket was installed about a 1000 miles back along with new timing belt.
- Brand new wheels and tires with approx. 1000 miles. Nexen N3000 and Flik Arctics in gunmetal finish.
- Seats are in great condition and no signs of cracking or any sort of rips and tears.
- AC blows nice and cold air and the heater blows nice and warm air, no issues ever.
- Sound system is perfect.
- Audi all weather floor mats included. I bought these brand new.
- All maintenance was done on time, when the car was in Minneapolis only Jeff D. worked on it
- I will include an extra set of wheels (18" Konig Reasons)

The bad:

- There a small dent on the fender on the driver side and also about a 2 feet long scratch on the bumper. This happened when the car was parked and I did not see it happen. It will cost about $500.00 to fix.

- The car has been in an accident when I was driving it. I have all records of what was replaced and it also comes with a Progressive Lifetime Guarantee. NO BODY WORK WAS DONE ON THE CAR. THERE WAS NO BODY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. Also, I would like to add that this occurred in Oct 2005 and its been over two years since then and there were no issues that came up due to the accident. I have taken it to a few different shops in Cali (all contacts were thru Audiworld.com) and everyone (shops) has always said good things about my car despite the scratch!

- There is some flaking of trim around the shifter, it was like this when I bought the car.
- A few rock chips in the front end, they are a handful. I'll post pics later.
- Minor imperfections in paint here and there but nothing that bad. I have maintained the car in the same condition I got it. I never allowed it to get worse.

- Hmm.. what else.. can't think of any http://dev.mnaudi.com/forums/Smileys/default/tongue.gif .. I'll add to the list if something else comes to my mind

MODS ( I will not part out, at least for the time being)

- Stasis street sport coilovers (they have about 25k miles on them)
- V&S Short shifter
- H-Sport sway bars (F&R)
- APR 93 Oct Chip
- APR Snub mount
- Bailey Diverter Valve (Black)

Now the much awaited information... PRICE PRICE PRICE... $7000 or OBO
It might seem a little high for the car but I have some goodies in it and I know that I shouldn't expect to recover my cost for the mods, it makes it less desirable as I have modded it to my taste but then there might be someone who appreciates the mods and is looking to mod the car and can build on this.

OHHH.. I have never tracked the car or abused it. It was driven like the way its suppose to be. I am very very careful with my car(s) and I have done everything possible to maintain it within my means.

I post pics very soon.

Thank you for reading.

just for clarity sake, are you sure the progressive lifetime guarantee on repair covers second owners? One of my coworkers mentioned that it's for the owner of the policy only...

that and how did you get into an accident without body dmg? Suspension damage?

Thanks for mentioning that, I have actually not looked into that. I assumed that the guarantee would stay with the car since that's what was fixed and not me

Anyways, I'll read through the certificate they gave me and see what it says.

And yes, you are right, I had suspension damage. I have all receipts etc.

Although, I would definitely like to say this once more, I have had no issues due to the accident. It occurred in October 2005 and its Jan 2008, not even a single problem was faced by me due to the accident. Just regular maintenance and wear and tear like wheel bearings.
