Background: My 6 hour trial (from APR) is over...I think....because when I'm driving, it drives kinda slow...kinda boggy...

Problem: but thats the problem, why is it TOO boggy? Its like I don't even feel UP TO PAR with stock anymore....it feels like I'm below stock
does anyone know what I'm saying?

Symptoms/signs:
1. Its like I feel no torque.
2. I hear little to no turbo spooling noise when I'm near a wall, another car, etc.
3. It takes forever to get from 60-70mph.
4. It feels BELOW stock. Anyone know what's going on?

Other things:
1. This has been going on for about a few days now...
2. When I floor it in 2nd gear, there is no significant torque whatsoever that I feel...
3. I don't really have that much money so I can't get a boost guage to see if I'm boosting properly.
4. Should I take take this to the dealership? or will they void my warrenty?

and is this true?? (quotes from vortex.com)

also....when you say stock, do you mean vw stock, or an "interpretation" of stock parameters by APR? in otherwords, if i wanted to make sure my ecu was set to 100% exactly the same as stock, would i have to have vw themselves reflash the ecu?

you should actually have more boost than when you started. after the trial is over your car reverts back to what apr's version of stock is. your stock program from the factory is gone for good and apr's version of what stock was is more aggressive than the factory map.
is this where my car is at right now? an "interpretation" of stock?
Someone Please help!

maybe a blown diverter valve?

X2, or maybe a boost leak from a hose that popped loose while running higher boost for that 6 hours???

3. SAVE! Get a boost gauge! MOD #1! I think newsouth has both the colmn pod and the gauge with install kit for like 80$ or less... Only way your gonna know what you are boosting.
4. Is it throwing a cel? If its not the dealership probably won't even touch it. You can be persistent and make them check it anyways but they will just probably say they can't replicate any problems and that everything is fine. You will not void your warranty because there is no need for you to tell them your trial is over. Just take it in and say its acting funny...

I agree with Lon and Patrick probably blown DV or leak somewhere...

damn that sucks. I would also take it back to the dealer that you got your APR trial at. let them know what happened, I'm sure you're not the only one that had this problem

APR's stock is their own stock mode. It is almost virtually identical to the stock ECU with only a few modifications left over to allow the APR software to be turned back on. Fueling, ignition, boost, timing are all left at stock values.

It sounds like you've got a leak either on a pressure hose, or due to a faulty diverter valve.

I have a spare diverter valve you can borrow if you would like to try that route. I live in Santee and if you would like to meet up sometime I can take a look and see if one of your N-75 valve hoses were blown or maybe even the FPR hose is leaking. I know when I got the revo trial it blew a line off the n75 valve and I had to replace it. The diverter valve I have is a Turbo XS type so its a piston type valve and would be significant enough to figure out if its that or not. Let me know what you think or if someone can run a vag on his car for him.
