It took my buddy and I some serious time to get this setup going. I have over 10k into this car. I can't really gauge the specifics.
Bump for a sik MK2. Damn I miss mine sometimes. :(

cause i just got an mk2 and i crashed my 1.8t so i have the car with the motor tranny everything...i have the entire car. and if i can find like a shop where i can get it swaped or maybe you know someone who can do a swap for me.

The motor runs and everything its fine its just i have no clue how to get that motor in the mk2...and what it would take

stop fogging up this dudes thread with off topic questions. Go do research on a swap if you want to do one.
For the seller: What would it take to get this thing running? I have a MK3 2.0. w/ coils, euro bumpers, Mk3 stubby mirrors, ecodes, Sport plaid seats. You could keep you wheels.

It just needs the wiring and the cooling plumbing finished. I am interested in you MK3 is it a golf or jetta? Will you email me some pics? :tup:

I have a 97 VR6 GTI that I wouldnt mind trading for the 1.8t and trans.
It needs a little cosmetic work (grill/headlight wiring) because the PO did a JTI swap and 're-swapped' back before he sold it to me, but the engine has new chains/guides, MK4 headgasket, new EIP stage 1 clutch and flywheel.
