i noticed that if u type a bunch of crap...

here...

and here....

then try to click in a place to insert a smilie later.....it always inputs it at the very end of your post....not at the cursor location.

any remedies?

Ah, I gotcha. Nope, it's broken for me as well.

I suspect it has to do with the fact that inserting at the cursor position is a somwhat difficult task in crossbrowser terms. I haven't looked at their code for inserts but they probably kept it simple to be compatible.

I suspect it has to do with the fact that inserting at the cursor position is a somwhat difficult task in crossbrowser terms. I haven't looked at their code for inserts but they probably kept it simple to be compatible.
Most likely because of that, and also Microsoft has only ever conformed to one standard, and that was their own. So when a standards-compliant browser comes along, things start breaking.

But then again, it COULD actually be a problem with Mozilla (although highly unlikely since they aren't an evil organization ;) ).
