Very nice looking! I am a bit confused though as coupe=2-doors.

Yea... confused on the coupe=2 doors as well.
But hey, I like what I see. And at the rate I'm going, looks like this will be out long enough to have worked out the bugs, making it a viable option as a replacement to my Explorer.

4-Door Coupe?
It's like a 2-Door Sedan only completely different.
It is pretty though.

CLS 500?? Man VW is copying every other manufacturer. Look at the new Audi A4 and it looks like a 3 series.

I don't like it. If I wanted a car that loks like a Mercedes... I would by one.

The A4 looks like an Audi that has followed the same design trends every other manufacter in it's market has followed (like BMW).

All manufacters of certain regions follow certain trends. I wouldn't go so far as to say they are trying to copy, as much as they are all trying to get in on the same styling that the buyers want.
Crown Vic and Caprice
Inf Q45 and Acura Legend/Vigor
Damn near all the Am trucks will have some sort of similar lines, esp in the headlights/fender flow.
The Corolla and the MKV Jetta
The Z06 and Ferrari 430 (look at the front ends)
Nothing wrong with German cars looking like German cars.

As someone who went from a B5 GLS Passat to MKV Rabbit I have to disagree with it being less fun. I miss that car SO MUCH sometimes. :(

well how bout the a5 and its s5 variant looking much like a volvo, it being Swedish and hitting the market prior to audi and da other bavs. oh and all current gen bmw's are design by the u.s. design firm here in cali, the same folks that designed the new espresso machines for starbucks. click here (http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2007-11-14-starbucks_N.htm)
