Help M3 engine knock

Well, I was driving in the rain, hit a puddle and my car sucked in a lot of water.
Now the engine makes a crazy knocking noise but it starts and idles rough.
Help what can it be??
A valve or rod?

Probably ruined the motor. I'd start with a compression test first.

if you sucked in water, it more than likely bent a rod, new motor, if you have full coverage insurance, they should cover it

bent rod, keep driving it and watch it shoot out the side.
