Here is some info! - This is what he sent me!

"Hi my name is Michael and I am selling a 2001 Mystic red pearl GTI VR6. It's a V6, 2.8 liter stock engine. The car has only had two owners and is in great condition for the year. The only thing done to it performace wise is the addition of a tornado for gas mileage and an exhaust (Not Cat-back). I bought the car at 65,000 miles pre owned certified and it has just under 80,000 miles. I have records of all the work done on the car and all the work has been done at the VW dealership. The car is equipt with an alarm system. I bought the car with a monsoon sound system. Other extras on the car include double din panasonic dvd, cd,mp3, and ipod cable that is installed in the glove box. The interior is all leather equipt with heated seats. It also has a moon roof and all the windows are tinted, 5% in the back and 35% on the driver and passenger side. The car also has 18" ASA AR2 rims with Falken Z tires that are in good condition. I love the car, it was my first car, I'm selling it because I'm having a baby and need a bigger car with four doors.
I'm asking $12,500, to compensate for the dvd touchscreen, exhaust, and rims, however I am willing to negotiate. Thank you for your time. I can be reached at (619) 807-3744 and (619) 822-5887. Ask for Mike."

I am just going to post a link to the album. If you guys know anyone that is interested just pass the info on.

wow.

i didn't pay that much for my MkIV DIESEL. . .(GLS, fully loaded). . .

he might think about substantially lowering the price. . . check ebay, autotrader, edmunds for current market value. Aftermarket accessories, if anything, will LOWER the value of the car (at least not raise the price). . . if he wants to recoup some costs, he should consider returning the car back to stock (assuming he still has the OE parts) and selling the accessories individually.

(just constructive criticism for you to pass on to him).
