My opinion... Cloverfield from a diff prospective would bring in no kind of money. It would bomb so to speak. We need epxlanations on the first one still. So I really think they should make a sequal to it. In the Directors interviews he mentions that Japan has Godzilla and I guess King Kong belongs to some place off of the african coast. So America needed our own monster. I just really want the first one to be explained. It just left the whole theatre pissed and booing...both times I saw it.

For those who have not watched..dont read this comment.

I watched the very first showing (Thursday at 11:45) they put out. After the movie people were about to start rioting due to the ending. Then we all waited to see something else. Hoping that there was just a inch, maybe a speck of hope that the movie would be promising for a explanation. Alas...no!!! Just everyone dying in the end.

While I didn't like the movie either (yes people were "boooing")... This made me laugh! hahah i'd pay to see that :tup: just no gratuitous p***y shots please...

i think its kinda weak........people needing to be told what is happening. its supposed to be as if you were the one holding the camera....all the info on the camera is all you know

Nah... I can think... look I even made my own ending... the monster went down to the local Alberto's cause you know knocking down buildings and fighting the US Army is hard work and had itself a mega huge gargantuan pancho carne asada burrito with extra beans and salsa. After it finished eating it it farted a fart so loud and destructive that it was heard all the way from the 9th moon of pluto. The fart wiped the monster and all of NY city off the map. Except the video camera and tape which were protected by superman who got there 30 mins too late. Cause he was Jamming with Newcleus and all the buildings for miles around were swayin' to the groove....

thats not how it ended!!!! superman was clubbing with spiderman while the joker was trying to cock block with lois lane but mayor juliani (sp) was trying to battle graffitti in NY but forgot that cope2 was going all city. but in reality, it was godzilla that got a case of bubble guts from eating too much taco bell..........

damn!!! i could really go for some carne asada fries from this mexican joint near my moms.......and they are open 24 hours too
