Welcome to the Jungle. (http://www.kqlz.com/)

At 5:00 in the morning of March 17, 1989 in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, 100.3 KIQQ-FM, or K-Lite Radio, died. In its stead came the short but meteoric rise of the greatest radio station EVAAAAR: PIRATE RADIO, with your host, Rammin' Jammin' Michael Scott Shannon. Relive history (ram) (http://www.kqlz.com/sounds/PirateRadio1stHr.ram)

A comprehensive playlist (1989-1992), or for some, a search guide. (http://www.kqlz.com/piratemusicbytrip.html)

Hey! From the racks and stacks, it's the best on wax!
How 'bout another double golden-oldie sound spin from K-L-A-M in Portland!

I remember when that radio station first aired. They played songs 24/7 with no commercials. But still no station will ever top KNAC. Anyone remember when KNAC had the same format as KROQ?
