I've got a 2001 A4 1.8T with close to 70,000 miles on it and I'm facing a $2,000 repair at the dealership for 2 oil leaks and new tie rods. Time to find a mechanic.
Anyone know a good Audi mechanic in the San Diego area? The few mechanics that people have already suggested turned out to not work on Audis, so I figured I'd be best served by asking Audi owners where they're taking their cars.
Thanks in advance.

Tony Woods ... send me a PM with some info on the problem .. .and ill ask him if he can help you or not
Have you already tried Shawn Maze? (monster8v)
Try Encinitas German Auto Repair, 841 Second Street, Encinitas, CA 92024. Fair prices, good work, and very honest.
Tie rods aren't that big of a deal, but you will need an alignment afterwards.
Do you know where the oil leaks are coming from?

The Prop Shaft and the Cam Feel (sp?). Prop shaft's related to the clutch, not sure about the other.
