Your local bike building, gun loving, helicopter fixing, Euro nut has finally made his way to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Some of you guys know I'm out here on deployment. After about 3 weeks of steaming across the Pacific we've finally made it to Fukuoka Japan. I haven't gotten off the ship yet. But, tomorrow I'm going to go check out Nagasaki tomorrow. I'll be sure to post up pics and keep everyone updated on my adventures!

We missed you on the strand ride yesterday.
Hopefully by the time you get back I'll find my legs.

Pics will be coming prob. tomorrow after we get into our hotel. Tonight was fun doing shore patrol and watching the guys I was with use their Visa cards at the shops and getting denied, lol. The language barrier is a hell of a thing out here.

learn Japanese like the rest of the people that have been deployed there, its really not that hard...you may not be able to hold a conversation but you will learn enough to get what you want.

Here's a couple pics from Nagasaki Peace Park/ Bomb Hypo Center. Its a real sobering experiance seeing what one bomb did to an entire city. I wasn't allowed to take any pics in the museum but there were some interesting artifacts.

I did a report in highschool, and I remember getting in trouble because I made these packets of pictures, and a few of the picture were women that had their Kimono's burning into their skin. Crazy shit, hope it never has to happen again, but . . . if it does, I hope we're the giver, not the receiver.
