From experience, there is not a great place to inject on a 1.8t. If you inject before the throttle body, you will get a nice even amount to all cylinders, BUT you will be buying a new throttle body (water and methanol are corrosive) like I did. If you inject directly to the manifold, there is no place to put the injector that doesnt shoot a concentrated flow into one of the 4 cylinders. Plus to really take advantage of the system, you need tuning like REVO with the SPS3 so you can increase timing. The water and methanol itself do not really give you ANY gain, it's being able to increase timing that does. All said and done, with the timing advanced and meth/water spray I gained 12hp to the wheels on my '05 GLI 1.8t. For all the work and headache it wasn't worth it. Unless you have a big turbo... then it may be..

You have to have a very highly tuned NA motor to need it, almost stratmoshperic compression ratios really.
