It's actually pretty damn close to the strip. Just on the other side of the 15fwy. I stayed there once and it's not bad. Better than Imperial Palace.

I will be in the MGM :) .

We booked a room at Palace Station but I made sure it's a refundable deposit because I'm still not 100% I want to stay there. It is super cheap for though, so I'll probably stick it out anyway.

I think it's 89.99 + tax for the courtyard rooms and then 129.99 + tax for the rooms in the tower or something. From what I can tell most people are going for the courtyard rooms.

We stayed there last weekend for the MINI event and it was a blast. There were over 540 MINIs there. It is good to stay where the event is going on. This is where all of the vendors and participants will be hanging out. I imagine that the event will be held on the top floor parking garage for this as well. We also partied at the top of the parking garage and were never hassled. We had over 20 people there each night. We were mixing drinks on a table and security actually came and hung out with us. When the wind and cold got to be too much for us on the top floor of the last night, one of the security people let us load the cooler in they're truck and they drove it down to the covered area for us. We were out there all three nights until 3 am and were never hassled. You gotta love being able to stagger back to your room and not having to worry about driving anywhere.

What time did you want to leave at?

As long as you can leave with enough time to be in Barstow at 1:30, i'll meet up with you.

Hey guys and gals. For Those that are NOT Planning to stay at the Palace Station, I have a friend that is giving us a good rate at The Meridian Luxury Suites Las Vegas. Please note that this is not meant to upstage or pull anyone away from their original plans, or to Disrespect Brandon or the Wustefest brand name, this is only a option for Those that are Not Staying at the Palace. AGAIN BRANDON, i mean you and your program no DISRESPECT.:) Just letting the people know. Plus it would be wrong to sit on this info and not let you guys know. If interested the link is www.meridianlasvegas.com (http://www.meridianlasvegas.com). and the person you want to speak to is Debbie Griffin, (702) 796-7646. tell her your part of the Wustefest group. Prices are exclusive to the travelers for Wustefest only. AND YOU GET FULL USE OF THE RESORT. :)

Call and ask if you can do a SUTA. Usually if you give them enough time, you can make it up ahead of time.

Is Wustefest a free event as far as the welcoming party and GTG is concern?

A friend asked me and I wasnt sure, I'm assuming it is free.
