i think we're long over due for a hodges gtg. i'm pretty sure everyone else feels the same way. here is a feeler of a date. i am not familiar with the procedure and i have never set up a hodges gtg, so i hope someone else that usually does can help especially since i live in Riverside and do not go there regularly. though i am pretty sure we just have to call the recreation and reserve our spot.

What: Lake Hodges BBQ and GTG
When: Saturday, March 29th
Time: 11:00AM - ???
Where: Rancho Bernardo Community Park
Why: To hang out and have a good time

The park is pretty big so there's plenty of space for us to play softball, football, volleyball, etc. Dogs and kids are welcome and they have plenty of room to run around.

Post up if you're coming and what you're bringing.

From NB 15:
Exit at Rancho Bernardo Road
Turn Left at the end of the off-ramp
Turn Right onto West Bernardo Road (which is the first light)
Go down West Bernardo for about 2 miles, you'll see the park on your left

2) NO STUPID SHIT IN THE PARKING LOT. Since the fires, there have been a lot of cops cruising around that area. Don't be the asshat to F it up for everyone else.

3) There will be a bike ride before the meet. It'll be a ~10 mile road ride. Don't forget your helmet. There are also a few decent trails out behind the park, so there may be some mountain biking happening before, during or after the meet.

We can try... well... you can do and I can try. I'm slow like no other after about 15 miles.

We can just do a 5 mile out and back and the people that want to drop off can while we do another 10 mile out and back. There are plenty of nice wide bike lanes out here.

there is a slight chance i'll be able to make it.

my store manager wants me to design business flyers for him (he has his own thing on the side) and he wanted to know how much i'd charge him since he knows how good my work is.. soooo by the end of the day i was telling him how i set up the hodges gtg this year and that the assist. manager wouldn't give me the day off EVEN THOUGH i had sent a request in the second week of feb with NO response up until two weeks ago. so i told him to give me this 29th off and i wouldn't charge him for my design of his flyer.. :p

so we'll see what happens. i'll know for sure by tuesday (which is my next day to go in). wish me luck :tup:
