So I'm bumping along on 5 North right around the bypass at the 805 and 5 merge..

Go around this old silver BMW 2002.. not thinking much of it..

Go back to get in front of him, check to make sure there's no one there, merge over and he's RIGHT FRIGGIN THERE ON MY BUMPER! and he was like 18 cars behind me 2 seconds earlier! He flashed his high beams a couple times at me and hops in the other lane and speed ups.

I go to give him a "sorry I cut you off" wave as he rolls by but this little sucker FLEW. Went from ~70 to 110 with an ungodly sound coming from the exhaust.

I was laughing the rest of the way home. :p

There is a 2002 running around with a turbo S52 and a rear mounted transaxle ala 944. I doubt it was this one since it looked like a garage queen when I saw it, but a 2002 weighs nothing and you can get some decent power out of the plus the small bumper cars are out of any kind of emissions testing.

I've been trying for over a year to convince my cousin's husband to sell me his 2002. He's not budging. HAHA.

i want to either have a 2002 as a project car, or a 3.0CSL (batmobile)

I test drove a 69 2002 with an rotary turbo from a rx-7. It handled like crap.. it was a project that the guy who was selling it had stopped working on...
but that thing was ridiculously fast. OMG... my friend was white knuckling the seat for the whole test drive. it was awesome.
