Broken Digi Cam

My Sony P&S cam is done. Is there anything cool I can apply the parts to? Any fun projects?

Just wondering what people had forideas, or it just goes in the garbage...

Not that I can really think of. Winder if there is a way to make the shoot button a shocker like people do with disposable cameras.

Depending on the screen, you can use it as a display for other projects. Companies like sparkfun sell kits based off the more common displays out there.

what exactly is broken on it?

The lense doesn't open and close, just grinds and is all crazy. Cam won't load if the lense doens't work right. Everything else is good.... oh, It is in pieces kind of, the shell is off. I was gonna try to be a repairman...
