wtb: 1.8t tranny

het guys im looking to replace my 2.0 auto tranny with a 1.8t tranny. i need the tranny and the harness and computer for it i beleve. let me know what you have

May I ask why you wanna go to a 1.8t trans? I assume you're sticking with auto as well...

yeah im sticking to auto. from what i have been told and looked around at is the 1.8t tranny has a better 1st gear for launching and the final drive is a bit lower so my rpms arent as high when cruzing on the freeway. i could be wrong though

I had to look it up. There is indeed a difference at highway speed. At 3k rpm now, you're around 65mph and with a 1.8t trans you'd be at 70mph at the same rpm.

yeah thats why i want to get it. but i was just told to also look for a 02j or o2a

Hmmm The O2J and O2A are both manual transmissions tho...

oh ok not up on the transmissons lol i think i might stay with auto because i wouldnt need alot to do the swap in it.
