Could someone put me in the right direction?
I am sure a couple of people have ATV / dirt bike experience...
I just picked up a 2006 Loncin 110cc ATV (children size) that doesn't start. I was told by the prev owner that he is not very mechanically inclined and it is possible I get it working no problem.
Problem is... No Start. Simple... starter doesn't engage. Batt good, press the elec start button, and absolutley nothing.
I am sure I can eventually chase through all the wiring, but if anybody has some experience or knows where I can pull manuals, a local helpful ATV shop, or whatever.. it would be much appreciated.
I can post a picture whenever I find the camera if anyone cares to see it.
Loncin 110cc ATV never heard of that?
Is that one of those things they sell at Peppoys or kregen?

Thanks guys... yeah, I have found two different wiring diagrams... they are pretty much the same, with slightly varied colors for the wires...
The one I got looks like this one, but Green Camo pattern. Otherwise, same shell and all.

I'm not sure where or what store it was bought from, but it seems online the go for a few bucks, and a neighbor got it cheap. Then he doesn't know how to work on them, and it broke, so he gave it to me for the cost of taking it out of his garage :D

Hi DeTolo,
Could you please post the two wiring diagrams for the Loncin 110cc quad on this site?
Thanks

Was it something with the Magneto by any chance? My best friend has a 120 Loncin pit bike and my other friend has the 110 Loncin pit bike... his had some starting probs and the magneto was a little finicky...
Loncin, everyone out here and in Ocotillo Wells calls em China bikes, pretty decent small sized quads and pit bikes with a bit of power, really cheap, but can brake easily, replacement parts are hard to come by, but some aftermarket stuff fits.
Buddy with the 120 busted his chain in some soft sand this last weekend.

Lemme get back on the diagram.
I forgot about this thread. The Batt (that I was told was good) was not good, at all. It died. It showed about 11V cold, but at crank dropped to 4V. I charged it, and voila, it started. Nothing else was wrong.
The bike has an alarm on it with a remote kill switch to stop your kid from killing him/herself. If the bike is not started regularly that alarm will drain the battery over and over until the battery will not hold a charge.
I have not lost either my idle or A/F adjust screw... working on taking the entire carb to the bike shop and seeing what I can replace it with.
Thing is nice... pulls almost 40mph with my fat ass on it (190lbs).

this is really stupid, but we didnt know, hold in the brake while pushing the electric start button....... the atv will not start unless you hold in the brake

OH, I knew that, lol. My bike is chillin doing nothing. I am gonna find a new carb, since either the A/F or the idle screw came out and is lost, lol.
Oh, and now one of the tires is completely flat and the bead is broken. I just realized, i totally didn't look for the schematics... I'll see what I can find again.

If you can take a pic, I can probably compare to mine and let you know. It likely has the wiring for the alarm with remote kill switch on it.
From what I can remember you will have plugs for:
- alarm
- (2) headlights
- Ignition switch
- gauge (Speedo)
- Kill switch plug (on rear of bike)
- Start and kill switch
- headlight switch
I don't think any one plug can be mis-pugged into any recieving end.
