Great job!!!!

Everything was very professional.

The cops were very cool (as cool as cops can be I guess).

The turnout was great. There was enough money in that parking lot to buy a small country.

Not to many Audi's there though. :(

On behalf of myself and Dusty, I really want to thank every single one of you that came out and brought out a gift. I was certainly blown away at the site of 2000 gift. Sure made these past 2 months of endless planning worthwhile. The Marines also thank everyone and said they had never seen an independent event generate this many gifts. Saw more than one person start crying at the site of the thousands of gifts and the amazing thing we all did for those less fortunate than us... Speaking of less fortunate... Why can't we all have Enzos? But once again, THANK YOU Lon and the rest of SoCalEuro for supporting a very worthy cause.

All I meant was I was just expecting like meeting/talking to more people. I was also expecting more Audi's but it was fun. I was in a bad mood when I made my other post and I apologize. It was fun but after an hour or so I had seen all the cars. I was really just expecting to meet more people. I think the event was well organized though and seemed like everything went smoothly. I will be at the next one. It was nice to meet the few people (Ya Bugzy-you) I did happen to talk to. Also major props to the people at VCR for all their hard work.

Yah that is what I meant. I saw lots of cars but there were just people all over and you could not tell what car went where and all that. I really came to meet people because I don't know many people out here who are in to cars and I was just disappointed when I didnt meet many people. Maybe for the Socal Vs Norcal thing we should have name tags for the cars and for people. :D It was nice meeting you though.

A side note...why was Safe and Sound there? :-(

We did manage to attract attention from Fox 11 news this evening at 11pm!!! They showed verylittle of what they shot, but hey, they came out (unlike the "other" news stations I asked) and they gave a lil up to us all!

I truly cannot think of a better cause at this time of year, so thanks to everyone that showed up with 1 toy or 100 toys!
