Fresh wash but I can get her started...

So I was finishing up my wash on GLI and hop in to hear turn her on. I turn the key and it only sounded like it was going to turn on but it did not. Great! So I am pushing this heavy car down L Canyon and almost hit a STi backing up, the guy realizes that I pushing my whip so he hops out and helps me push (thanks random guy!)

My mechanic says that it could be a relay. Turns out that I was not getting ANY current to the fuel pump.

Q: Anybody have any idea why this happends or what I can do to possibly prevent this from occuring again?

Any input is appreciated.

multimeter and a weekend. trace the wires that run the pump. try the relays. you may have to pull the lower dash trim and check the few relays that are there.

I never liked fuel pump relays. If it is a relay, that's the one I would try

*EDIT* It's the relay marked 409. See if you can swap one out and see how that does so you don't spend money on nothing...
