Yup, I'm looking for a good camera. Dont really care the modle just that it takes good pictures, interchangeable lens, durable (I'm military, and deploying), and perferable under like 400 bucks.

Recommendation is that you buy an advanced Point and Shoot.

SLRs = sensor dust = crap in your photos.

yea, but im looking for something that even though ill be out in the middle of dust hell, id like to be able to take some killer pictures to send back here to all you guys who like seein what we do out in the sand box

granted ill take any ideas or opnions to consideration to :)

Pick up something used, or as Paul suggested, a nice point & shoot. I don't think you can find a dslr body for under $400.00, I could be wrong though. Good Luck ;)

I'd sell my 20D for $400. But, I also have about $400 in accessories i'd throw in for a toatl of $550 (3 or 4 extra batteries depending on how many I find, 75-300 lens, 18-55 kit lens from my rebel, might have an extra camera case around too).
