Ok for all the new people on the site that are wondering how a guy with a Subaru became a moderator on a European car site. Well here is the answer. I did own a few VW's.

Hahaha... green MK4 GTi. I can't believe it was, what, 2000 when we met? My MK4 was a MY2000, but I got it in 99... hahaha, Neuspeed GTG. Fun but blah all at the same time!
I forgot about the Bettle (yes, bettle, pronounce like kettle).
And those wheels on your MK2 GTI look really familiar???

We had two. At the same time. I wanted to drop the car off the jack stands many a time on myself while "fixing" them :rolleyes:

I think all the guys hatin on anything other than euro's just are not yet educated. Or they are mad cause a WRX, or even a well modified Civic smoked them at the track! I love my VW.... I work on Hondas for a living. There are good things about both.

your mk4 n beetle inspired me when i was still in college with my stock gti, 5 years later and a lot more maintenance than i'd like to have, i wish i followed you and got a subie. :)
