Help! I'm taking my beetle in to Pure Motorsport first thing in the morning. They're putting in Bilstein sport struts/shocks (already have Vogtland 2" springs). Now I'm really considering having them throw on some wheel spacers too. I'm thinking 15mm in the rear and 8 or 10mm in the front. Is it worth the 160 bucks? After looking at my bug last week, they didn't believe I'd have to roll my fenders. I think I just need someone to push me over the edge. Any ideas or suggestions? Should I just wait?

why?
for looks?
The only one who will notice it is you.

You're probably right. I just wanted to make the tires sit more flush with the fenders. But, if you guys think it's pointless, maybe I'll save myself some $ and use that $ to tint my windows :)

I do not know what bugs look like with spacers. I have 15mm in the rear of my GTI. I like them, it is really subtle. I agreee... unless you know what stock looks like or it is yours, most will not notice.

Well...my new struts/shocks feel so much better. I held off on the wheel spacers for now. Next is window tint (35 all around).

let me know if you want to drive to Irvine for tint ~ my brother's in-law has hooked up a few members here

I have 25mm in back and 10mm upfront, granted I need them because of my offset but I threw the 25mm on the back long before when I still had stock wheels. I like the look and surprisingly a lot of people have noticed and asked me about it. I also canyon my car with no adverse effects....yet. :)
