Odd situation with the car.

So lately, my car has this problem where i'm doing 70-80 mph on the free way and it like loses power for 3-5 second and goes back to normal, It's been doing that for a while now.

Today on the way home it's no longer 70-80, but it's doing it at 50-60 now. WTF??

LAst week at my shop the idle went crazy bud the car didn't DIE.


Today at a stoplight it went crazy again and it DIED completly, it took me 3 times to get it started and the light turned green and I went about 30 ft and it tried to die again. I haven't driven the car since.



I don't have access to a vag com for a little while, Does anyone know whats going on???? Or anyone have this same problem occur?

possibly boost leaks or vacuum leaks

Well i am throwing a check engine light for over boosting, could that play a role in the situation?

Boost leak is the opposite of overboost David

Mine's spaz'd out a few times on the highway: on cruise control she'll suddenly surge and disengage CC, or even on the throttle cruising: she'll do the same thing...as if the DBW system shuts down momentarily....tre strange...
