They are just the highsports. I figured I don't really need the stainless steel ones since i live in cali. And I don't really care about the dampening adjustability. I should've listened to you the first time when you told me to just save for coils instead of buying springs haha


I will probably remove the rear perches, but I dunno If I'm going to go as low as all those floridians haha And I have heard about notching the frame so that I don't hit the axel, but what does that really mean? What am I having done to the frame? Also, where would I have that type of thing done?

unless they go 3+ inches down i dont even think u can notchin the frame...
i know winslow did it with his gti but he was on bags

nothching the fram isnt more than what it says. u cut away part of your lower frame by the axles so taht u can go that much lower without rubbing ...the frame

^^^ Yea... what Ted said. Just cutting a piece of your frame so that the frame doesn't hit the axles...

The way I see it, is that they total cars for having frame damage. When you cut the frame you mess with the frames overall integrity. While I do understand that they weld other pieces of steel to compensate it's not the same. Some people don't care about that stuff :) So its up to the individual.

i installed springs on my buddys rabbit. its honestly a LOT easier then you think. only tricky part is it take a special 5 dollor tool you have to order.

It's not so bad on a MK5. Just be careful with the HID leveler and have a spring compressor on hand. But if you do doubt it, have it done

I think I'll play it safe and have it installed. And maybe the shop can show me how to adjust them and stuff :)

I'm also looking for pics with the perches and helper springs in haha I can't find any. I would like some two piece monoblocks but they are money haha If you can find a pic slammed with everything still in, that would be sweet :D
