there isnt even really a question. you can ALWAYS go lower. it just depends on how much money you have for replacement lips :)

I'd say just about an inch...anymore would be death to your lip. You want just enough to outline your tire to the fender line.

yea but remember how the front tires were when i sold you the wheels??? car was way too low to even do the aliment on it, wheels would of rub the fenders all the time

Why go lower? Why is lower always better? What is wrong with having a little clearance under the car, so you don't have to crawl over speedbumps or when entering driveways?
If I saw two great-looking cars, I would not automatically say that the lower one is better. And if I drove two otherwise-equal cars, I don't think I would say that the lower one handles better.

well then, with that said i would say the best reason to go lower is purely cosmetic. still good enough reason to me :)

Force of habit for me. I've always been as low as I can, strictly for looks. Going in and out of driveways slow is normal for me anyhow as I don't like to careen into other objects, and speed bumps are there to slow you down in a parking lot.
