I remember in high school we couldn't wear the fourteenth edition of the Michael Jordan's because they came out only in variations of Red/White or Red/Black until the end of the season. Also, "XIV" or 14 was the set of the Nortenos in the region. They wore the Jordan XIVs like a label. Finally some Sorenos shot somebody for not taking off their Jordans on command, stating that wearing meant that you claimed you were a 14th St Norteno.

It may only be coincidence that the GTI is also Red, a color opposed by Sorenos, or it could be that the owner of that GTI has affiliations with Norteno peeps.

Either way, shitty it had to come out on the car...

Nice knowledge! :tup: I'm still learning about many gangs, its sort of something i study. The reason I said sect of the mexican mafia is cuz I thought all mexican gangs eventually pay dues to the mexican mafia run on the inside.
