Whore..................... My MK3 was easy since it has relatively flat lamps, my MK5, not so much, it was like trying to wrap half a fish bowl. I would post up pics, but, its clear, I thought about smoke or yellow, but I didn't know how it would affect the light from the Xenons, or worse, attract cops after I'm on my way home from the bar. I did chose the yellow fogs but they will mail them to me when they come in, those should be cake though since they are small and flat.
Raffi suggested to have a tint shop do the headlights due to the curve, throwing caution to the wind I figured hell, if I can build a motor, I sure as hell can put film on a set of headlights! I followed the directions verbatim, a hairdryer worked great for fitting it to the curves with the soapy water and squeegee it was still a bitch to get it to sit flat with no bubbles on the edges. Then I had to trim with an Xacto knife. Next time I will pay the tint shop to do it. But $69 for the film is alot better then a stone chipped headlight. I got it from Eurosport.
