I dont really want to deal with on-line reseller's since all of them have really low ratings. Plus I want to see in-person what I'm buying before shelling out $300-$400 bones on a phone.

I found one place in San Diego that sells unlocked GSM phones (Elite wireless) in clairemont.
Does anyone know of any other wireless shops that sell said phones? I'm particularly looking for Nokia N-series phones.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Edge wireless if you can find it. otherwise you're best bet is online at the companies stores. Locked GSM technology is big here and it heps keep phone costs down.

The other option is just buy the phone and ask the provider for the unlock code.

That said the only real reason to unlock a phone is foreign travel.

You can also try PCS Connection on Convoy next to Yoshinoya. They have a nice selection of phones that are unlocked.

I went there, but they only unlock phones. They did'nt have any N-Series phones. They directed me to Elite wireless. Which had no N-series phones in stock.

I have an unlocked N70 that i bought straight from nokia. Its kinda taken apart right now, but i could bring it to a fusion meet so you could see one before purchasing (if you want an N70, its really a great camera/phone)
