So that's the 50mm f/1.8 I take it. I was looking at that lense online yesterday, good price.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it's the 50mm f/1.8 Definitely a fun lens to play with and not a bad price either. I shoot with a Canon 30D and a couple basic lenses. I'm hoping to get some new L glass with the tax return, but we'll see how bad Uncle Sam bends me over.

i got a 24-70 f/2.8L for graduation last summer. it went to europe with me and i loved it, but soon after i grew tired of it and traded it in for two tamrons -- a 90mm f/2.8 macro and a 17-50 f/2.8 wide angle. best decision i've ever made for my dslr
