We're still waiting to get all of these on the road at the same time. Most we've ever managed was 3 at any given time.

Not to worry... I have a nice project in my garage right now. I just need to get off this boat and get home to finish building it. Then hopefully I can get these guys out on the dirt this summer.

If I'm on the dirt, it'll be on two feet. I've spent enough on biking. If I spend any more I'm going to be in some trouble with the wife.

Thats where a friend with a "spare" bike comes in handy.

the cervelo has the most adjustment of any tri frame out there... you can get the seat up to 81 degrees if you want. Stiff as hell and the ride is fairly smooth.

now i just need to find time to ride it. 16 units and work is kicking my ass

Good luck Scott and Chris! Tear it up!

Tony, if you need someone to take one of the bikes to get them all moving at once, I'll give it a shot. Keep in mind that I'm short. My bike is a 27.5". I don't know how that translates to the roadie world. And my shoes are spade clip-ins. (pretty standard, right?)

27.5" is a HUGE bike Tony! Since you're riding a Fisher I'd assume its a 17.5 instead, lol. Depending on your inseam you might be able to fit my Fuji. Its a 58 with a 110 stem. I'm cool with it if you want to try your hand on the Road. Just have to swap out pedals since I'm using Eggbeaters.

BTW, I'll have my mountain bike up and running by the 2nd weekend I come home. So I'll be hitting you up to hit some trails.

The leader was nice. I paid $1,000 for it with full Ultegra. My only real gripe was the Carbon seat post kept sliding down on me, and I'm not a huge fan of the braze on Front der. I've just always wanted a Fuji Team SL and had the chance to buy a frame fairly cheap. Then I go tired of how big and bulky the Shimano shifters were so I switched to the sleeker Srams.

There is a joke in there somewhere about why your seat post kept sliding down.

How far is that? I'm assuming you guys are cutting over to the coast and then heading south on PCH or something.

I'm still not ready to attempt riding to work. I have about 25 miles and a bunch of hills to deal with along the route I would be taking. I can make it but not in any reasonable amount of time yet.

Trek has a pretty cool map that shows the bike lanes, bike routes, bike trails, freeway lanes, etc for all of SD, including North County. I think i am going to take Pomerado to Kearny Villa Road, through Linda Vista, along Camino del Rio south into Old Town, down PCH to the ferry landing. It looks like it will be about 40 miles.

So all the road guys at work are impressed with the lineup. But they all want to know, why so many? For reference, use the picture in your garage, because I don't know one from another.

That's a pretty long ride. What speed are you averaging on the road over that kind of distance? Going a pretty good clip, you're still looking at a 2+ hour ride. You're gonna wind up with legs that look like tree trunks.

I was thinking of doing Pomerado all the way around and then straight down Miramar road to get to my office. I'll be happy to average 15 given the hills.

The bikes all belong to different riders.

In the garage pic...
The one on the stand is Jon's
The one to the left of the stand is Denise's
The one to the right of the stand is Paul's
The one hanging on the left is Kerry's
The one hanging on the right is mine.

A pedal car though... that might be fun.

Convenient cup holders...

4 wheels so it won't flip over... at least not too easily.

I've just got to dial the rear in and the shifting will be dead on. Theres been no problems with the front so far...but then I havent logged any serious miles yet, just a shakedown or two. Guess when you get a quality frame that WELDS the mount on...

Now I need a more adjustable set of aerobars... ebay here I come:D

The good thing is that there is ALWAYS a sale going on at Performance. They will always match the website pricing too, which is usually even lower than the store prices.
