For the price you can't beat dubtek, but I dont think I would rock one personally. Out of all of them, The MKV. It looks like the bumpers don't paint well either and shade the color differently.

Also, these say they fit us spec bumpers, but I could have sworn I read on vortex that you needed the EU bumper

in defense for mike and dubtechnik, its NOT AN OEM KIT!!!! it WILL-NOT-FIT-OEM....most of the time u will need slight modifications. when i got sponosered by them the RXS bumper i recieved fit like a glove! and for the price its not that bad. and ppl on vortex who bitch that their body shop cant do anything with it just shows how shity of a shop they are. like i said mine fit perfect the only thing that was bad was the side mounting points for the fender liner. we had to fab up some brackets since the ones on the bumper were too short

Depending on the paint scheme, the MKV kit doesn't look too bad, but I don't know why anyone would go for that Cayenne kit.

I think that bumper solid black on a GTI would look great.. I have to see it in person but no pin or two tone or nothing just black..
Looks a lot like the R32 IMO

i think you would need a real good rear bumper to match up...that front is clean...but youll need something in the rear to help balance the look

is this a good enough rear bumper...

IMO, all body kits like that, look like shit, OEM never goes out of style, If you must monkey with VW's design, raid their own parts bins, Votex, GLI, R32, the only aftermarket stuff that is decent is just a subtle lip or so, Thats my opinion though, only "Body" mods on my GLI are lamin-x on the headlights and an M3 (factory VW part) style lip on the trunk.

yea but my style was winning a car show lol considering i had everything needed and me all the criteria except for the damn rims, and i still lost to the dubaddiction guy with the ebay bodykit. so yea...that im going for oem++ now.

meh.. dubtechnik front ends all look too bubbly for me. if they were a bit more square to fit the body lines of the mk4 shape it would look loads better. i agree with mike. stick with oem stuff.

Which one do you think has aged better????? Not saying you'll keep your car 20 years, but if you look at most ALL aftermarket kits, they look tacky and dated in only a few years, look at the goofy kits people use to bolt on MK3's in the late 90's!!!!!! Basically if its clean and OEMish, fits the car and looks like it was designed for it in the first place, it will complement the car and never be an eyesore.

I want an R32 front end or a 20th AE lip but I don't want to be a 'poser' and such. I was thinking 4Motion valences for a while but are those even really noticeable?
edit: plus some one at my work has a black R32 and some one also has a VR6 with the 20th front lip and rear spoiler.. so either way I'm gunna look like I'm rippin off one of them too.
