Last week around midnight i was on my way home from a date. Headed on the 60 Fwy east, i merged onto the 15 Fwy north onramp. I pass up a late 1980s Ford Bronco and didn't think much of it. I feel this huge hit on the rear corner of my car and then the ass of my car cut loose. Next thing i knew i was sideways at 70 mph. As i counter steered, my CPU took over and applied pressure to the brakes of certain wheels to also counter act the spin. In a split second that i was sideways, i was back to the direction i was facing before the hit. I swear if it weren't for my quick reflexes, i would have been upside down in a ditch. On the other hand, the Bronco took off and continued east on the 60 FWY. My car's handling seemed fine so i pursued. Yup, hit and run. While i was following her, i called 911 and gave them every detail they needed to catch her. They made me exit the Country Club exit off the 60 fwy so a CHP can take my report. So fare the insurance is retrieving the report and the Bronco's address. I went to the auto body shop Friday and the estimate is around $3,000. They have to cut and replace the rear quarter panel. Thank God for insurance... now for the pictures.

wow that's some B.S. I don't understand why she would continue to drive off, probably didn't have insurance or was under the influence or something. At least nothing happened to you, that's the important thing.

I see the fallacy in this already....who the hell's gonna believe you actually went on a date? Case dismissed:tup:

nice reflexes rick. tiff's dad and uncle have their own bodyshop in upland if you need a place to take it. they do really good paint jobs since both of them are painters and they do good body work.

Thanx Jesse. Ive seen the work from the shop and its phenomenal! Plus, if something is wrong, i would feel better for ripping them a new one.

I'll keep her family in mind. I need to repaint my work truck and that other shop charges an arm and a leg. Does her dad or uncle smoke lenses? Im gonna get my hands on the LED tails and get them smoked, excluding the signal light section.

Wow.. atleast you made it out of the whole ordeal safe and sound... Perhaps a bit shaken up, but damned lucky..

Only downside to all this is... How will they believe your claim?
