just got back from a day at LACMA. it was pretty tight. i had to go visit a russian avant-garde art exhibit with my russian culture class. while it was interesting, i'd have to say taking pictures, hanging out at the grove, and looking at some of the other rad exhibits was what made it worth while. driving back was a wake up call though.
between la, dropping my friend off at school in riverside, and coming home to orange, i saw at least 6 or 7 accidents. most were fender benders, but there were two pretty serious ones. one was on the 10 east where someone had a blowout that tore up their quarter panel pretty bad, and the other was on the 91 east at weir canyon (i was going wb) where all i could see was a ford expedition with the airbag deployed and an ambulance on scene. just goes to show that not paying attention on a busy saturday can really mess you up..
the only humor that came out of the accidents i saw was one fender bender on the 10 east where some guy had rear-ended a marine who was in uniform. traffic was slow right there, so we got a real good look at how intimidated the other guy was :D i'm sure it was handled in a civil manner though.
